Community is the heartbeat of the Harmony Food Pantry

For 25 years, Harmony has served Southern Dallas neighbors with compassion and dignity. Our Food Pantry provides healthy, nutritious, and high-quality food to individuals and families facing food insecurity.

We do more than distribute groceries—we help ensure families have the meals and wrap-around services they need for ongoing support and well-being.

Today, the pantry serves an average of 450 families each month and remains a vital outreach resource for the communities we serve. Clients receive approximately 25 pounds of food per person, which equates to about five days of meals per individual, based on North Texas Food Bank guidelines.

Who We Serve

The Harmony Food Pantry welcomes all individuals and families in need of food. We serve anyone the first time on an emergency basis.

For ongoing services, household income must be below the current Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP*) income guidelines.

Residents in the following zip codes are welcome to sign up for monthly food pantry services: 75216, 75211, 75115, 75116, 75137, 75104, 75232, 75233, 75236, 75237, 75224 75241, 75249.

All other residents are eligible for quarterly services.

Ways to Support

Harmony CDC invites you to join us in making a difference in the lives of families in need. 

Please consider donating these high need items that will be added to our food boxes! These inventory items are key in making sure our neighbors receive food from all five food groups. Thank you for partnering with us to disrupt hunger.

Here are ways you can give and make a direct impact:

New & Unopened Donations: 

• Peanut Butter
• Spaghetti Pasta
• Spaghetti Sauce
• Canned Green Beans
• Canned Pinto Beans
• Boxed Mac & Cheese
• Canned Tuna
• Canned Chicken
• Nuts
• Dried Fruit
• We also accept unopened and fresh frozen chicken or fish.

Please drop off at the Food Pantry Monday - Wednesday between 9AM - 5PM. 

Monetary Donations: Your financial contribution goes directly toward purchasing food and supplies for families in need. Every dollar helps us provide meals for those who might otherwise go without. 

Volunteer Opportunities: We are also seeking volunteers to assist with organizing and distributing food leading up to and during the Thanksgiving holiday. Your time is just as valuable as your donations, and we welcome your help in ensuring everyone enjoys a warm, nutritious meal this season. 

Strengthening Our Fight Against Hunger 

Harmony CDC is pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded a 2025 Hope For Tomorrow grant from the North Texas Food Bank!

This generous investment will fund personalized support, counseling, financial education, housing resources, and more, helping our agency break the cycle of hunger by addressing its root causes—not just the symptoms.

We’re grateful to the North Texas Food Bank for their partnership and belief in long-term solutions for our community.
